Acid Attack
Two school girls attacked with acid in Kathmandu.
An unidentified boy attacked two school girls with acid at a tuition center in Basantapur, Kathmandu on Sunday. The acid victims are Sangita Magar and Sima Basnet who were attacked with acid by the stranger while they were just sitting inside tuition institute at Joche for coaching classes.Sangita Magar, a permanent resident of Khaniyapani in Ramechhap district, is under treatment at KMC Hospital in Kathmandu. She is in critical condition. Sangita Basnet’s condition is stable; she is under treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu. Both of the girl students were from government school in Kathmandu and were preparing SLC (School Leaving Certificates) exams.
