Photography has always been a medium of universal art of communication for me. It’s a way of self-exploration for me. In course of time and space, it taught me to enjoy and appreciate Mother Nature. It taught to love the god near my heart. For me nature is god and the nearest god to my heart is my birthplace Besishahar, Lamjung. These photos are result of my love to the god near my heart. I grew up with the every day sight of the natural beauties with green and snow caped mountains.
I am documentary photographer; I like to tell the story of people whose voices need to be told loud in the society. But when I am in Lamjung, Besishahar, I love to tell the story of these mountains; I love to explore the mesmerizing eternal beauty of these magnificent green and snow caped mountains that I grew up with. I have seen the sight of Lamjung Himal thousands of time during my childhood and teenage. I enjoyed the thousands of mornings and evening of my childhood and teenage watching the stunning Lamjung Himal that always smiled to me with its beautiful teeth.
After SLC education from Earthly Paradise English School from Besishahar, I spend most of my time in Kathmandu and travelled national and international places for photography assignments. But I was always missing one place in my photography work. In 2013, I realized that I was missing my birthplace in my art of photography. Then the episode of self- exploration started with the travel of my Birth Place, Besishahar, Lamjung. These photos are taken in the period of three years with special plan to capture the natural beauty of Lamjung district. The self-exploration is still on and I will explore Besishahar, Lamjung more and more through my photos.
