shocked and vulnerable monkey

In 2009, my attention was caught by a monkey who was trying to eat medicine in Thapathali, Kathmandu. I started to capture the moment. Just near, i saw a beautiful family of monkey enjoying sunbath together. I also capture the moment. Soon after i encountered a very ill monkey and capture his/her portrait. As soon as i finished to capture the portrait i saw a group of people making noise in circle focusing on something which i could not see.

I went to the place to know what was happened there , and i saw a monkey lying injured on the ground. People were pouring water on it. Some one told me that it got electric shock and fell down from the pole. The monkey was in deep shock due to the fall and electric shock. The monkey’s hair was burnt and and blood was coming out of mouth.

later another monkey give a call to the injured monkey and they went to a quite place. The love shown by the another monkey to the injured monkey was really humanlike. After one day i saw the injured monkey looking for food from people who walk by the footpath in Thapathali.
